Important Notes

Atsuko is blind in her right eye from a childhood illness. Said eye is faded, as if covered by cataracts or a similar film.

Atsuko keeps her hair in a long braid (reaching down to her waist) at almost all times. If it were not braided, the width of this hair would only be about a hand’s width. The rest of her hair is cut just past her face.

Atsuko has a reserved demeanor, keeping to herself unless she’s comfortable with someone. Strangers may interpret this as being demure, but she actually has more of an acerbic personality. However, she can be very affectionate to those who have gained her trust.

Story

Atsuko Aoki was raised alongside a nosy older sister, which led to her becoming reserved, keeping to herself to avoid being scrutinized. Her partial blindness and her self-isolation led to being bullied during school, causing her to develop a cynical and pessimistic personality. Finding friends who accepted her for who she was helped to break her out of this shell, though some of the habits are harder to break than others. After a period of aimlessness during university, Atsuko eventually became an audio technician.

• Befriending Himeka and her friends during high school at Solana Academy.
• Moving to Akiramine to attend university.
• Slowly opening up to others, if they work to gain her trust.
